All entrants must complete and sign a registration form and send it via email as advised on the website
Places are strictly limited and all entrants MUST register in advance by the entry deadline in order to take part. Dogs are not permitted on any of the walks.
All participants under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have specific written permission from their guardian/s to take part. For those under 18 years of age we are asking for a discretionary registration donation fee of £1.00. This can be paid via the main theWelsh1000walk Just Giving page. You can find the donate button on the homepage of the website www.thewelsh1000walk.com
The registration donation fee for participants over 18 years of age is £10.00 per entrant payable online as part of the registration fee. This is non-refundable. All donations to be submitted via Just Giving page. TheWelsh1000walk will not be accepting money directly. You must submit this before sending your registration form.
All entrants are asked to raise a minimum of £10.00 in addition to the registration donation fee. Feel free to raise as much as you like though! These monies should be paid via theWelsh1000walk Just Giving page.
Any entrant who is unable to take part in the event should notify theWelsh1000walk as soon as possible.
Entrants are responsible for their own medical condition, ensuring they are fit to complete the walk within the allocated time and during daylight hours. Please consult your doctor if you are in any doubt about your medical suitability.
Entrants are responsible for their own transport arrangements to the start and from the finish. TheWelsh1000walk is unable to arrange transport.
Entrants should be aware that photographs taken during the walk may be used to publicise the event and the work of theWelsh1000walk.
By signing the entry form/submitting online you agree to follow the reasonable directions of theWelsh1000walk volunteer organisers and the volunteer leaders of each walk
TheWelsh1000walk reserves the right to cancel this event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, without any liability to any participants.
All participants walk at their own risk. In no event shall theWelsh1000walk be liable for any injuries, loss or damages whatsoever, including indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential losses connected with any aspect of this walk.
All participants must bring sufficient water and food suitable for the duration of the walk. The Welsh 1000 will not be providing any food or drink. If a leader judges you not to have sufficient for your walk, they can refuse to allow you to take part in theWelsh1000walk event.
All participants must wear suitable clothing/waterproofs/footwear for the walk. We would consider flip flops to be not suitable footwear! If a leader judges you not to have the appropriate clothing/footwear for the conditions on the day for your walk, they can refuse to allow you to take part in theWelsh1000walk event.
Latecomers – people who arrive after the start time accept and agree that they cannot officially take part in theWelsh1000walk.
You understand that the personal data you provide will be maintained on a computer system expressly for the efficient administration of theWelsh1000walk. The data will not be used for any other purpose nor will it be sold or otherwise released to third parties.
If you supply an email address, we shall ONLY use your email address to communicate with you about the walk, e.g. to send confirmation of registration, your walker number. This will enable us to minimise postage costs. We will NOT pass the information to any third party. Each walk leader will be issued with your email address and telephone number, in order that they can communicate directly with you prior to the start of the event.
